Notice of Tianjin Industry and Information Technology Commission regarding the Implementation Plan of the 10th Group of 20 Major Industrial Projects in Tianjin
All concerned,
Tianjin Party Committee and Tianjin Municipal Government held the Major Project Promotion meeting with the theme of Development Promotion, Livelihood Improvement and Industry Upgrading on 17th February. The 10th group of 20 major industrial projects were promoted in the meeting. The total investment amounted to 52.65 billion yuan with each project of 2.6 billion yuan on average. The projects included some of the world top 500 companies, brand names and new strategic projects, e.g. 5 projects of manufacture of advanced equipment, 2 projects of electronic technology, 1 project in pharmaceutical industry, 2 projects of new energy and material, 3 projects in petrochemical industry and 7 upgraded projects in traditional industry. After the completion of the projects, the revenue is expected to increase by 110.9 billion yuan while tax is to increase by 11.6 billion yuan. Currently, 13 projects have started the construction, e.g. Volkswagon Transmission Project, TianlongTombarthite Material Project, CNOON LNG Project.
The Implementation Plan of the 10th Group of 20 Major Industrial Projects in Tianjin has been sent to you. Companies listed in the plan shall organise and plan carefully and take effective measures for the implementation, progress and production of the projects. All relevant government departments and district and county governments have provided great support to the 180 projects in the previous 9 groups and guaranteed their implementation of the projects. Tianjin Major Industrial Project Command Centre will coordinate with departments concerned to address the challenges and obstacles of the projects with enhanced support and service.
