In 2018, Xianda conducted tendering for Nangang Industrial Zone Integrated Seawater Desalination and Salt Making Project. As of December 2018, all tendering work has been completed. The details are as follows:

By 1 June 2018, the bids for the power plant of Nangang Industrial Zone Integrated Seawater Desalination and Salt Making Project had been submitted to Xianda by many tenderers.

On 30 March 2018, Xianda formally released the Invitation to Bid for the high-pressure pump of Nangang Industrial Zone Integrated Seawater Desalination and Salt Making Project. The tender included 2 sets of high pressure pumps (including energy recovery facilities). The pump flow rate is 1865-2229 m3/h, and the head is 419-511-551m. The flow rate of energy recovery facilities is 666.8 m3/h, and the head is 697-782m. The ITB was issued to many manufacturers with high manufacturing capability and abundant experience nationwide.

By 3 July 2018, the bids for the high-pressure pump of Nangang Industrial Zone Integrated Seawater Desalination and Salt Making Project had been submitted to Xianda by many tenderers.

On 31 July 2018, Xianda formally released the Invitation to Bid for seawater desalination package of Nangang Industrial Zone Integrated Seawater Desalination and Salt Making Project. The tender was an Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) package, including seawater desalination and deionization facilities with the capacity (industrial water and deionized water) of 100,000 m3/day, running 24 hours/day. In addition, the brine (TDS 90,000mg/L) capacity is 32,000 m3/day. The ITB was issued to many design institutes and EPC companies who have capability and abundant experience nationwide.

By 20 Dec 2018, the bids for seawater desalination package of Nangang Industrial Zone Integrated Seawater Desalination and Salt Making Project had been submitted to Xianda by many tenderers.

On 21 August 2018, Xianda formally released the Invitation to Bid for seawater intake and trunk main package of Nangang Industrial Zone Integrated Seawater Desalination and Salt Making Project. The tender was an Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) package, including intake facilities, water transfer pipelines, pump house, high-low voltage substation (excluding high voltage substation). The total capacity of the package is 300,000 m3/day. Intake pumps will be installed in phases according to the water demand. Dosing station will be constructed according to the capacity of 100,000 m3/day. Water pipelines will be completed in one time with the capacity of 300,000 m3/day. Substation and power distribution houses will be finished according to the capacity of 100,000 m3/day. The ITB was issued to many design institutes and EPC companies who have capability and abundant experience nationwide.

By 29 Nov 2018, many tenderers had submitted the bids for seawater intake and trunk main package of Nangang Industrial Zone Integrated Seawater Desalination and Salt Making Project to Xianda.

On 17 Sept 2018, Xianda formally released the Invitation to Bid for centrifugal steam compressors of Nangang Industrial Zone Integrated Seawater Desalination and Salt Making Project. The tender included 8 sets of centrifugal steam compressors, 6 sets of which are equipped with the gas flow rate of 161,000 kg/h, 100kPa of inlet pressure and 160kPa of outlet pressure. The other 2 sets of compressors have the gas flow rate of 155,000 kg/h, 90.3kPa of inlet pressure and 178.1kPa of outlet pressure. The ITB was issued to many manufacturers with high manufacturing capability and abundant experience nationwide.

By 12 Dec 2018, many tenderers had submitted the bids for centrifugal steam compressors of Nangang Industrial Zone Integrated Seawater Desalination and Salt Making Project to Xianda.

On 18 Sept 2018, Xianda formally released the Invitation to Bid for public utility and auxiliary facility package of Nangang Industrial Zone Integrated Seawater Desalination and Salt Making Project. The tender was an Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) package, which is part of the plant to accommodate the water capacity of 100,000 m3/day of stage 1 of phase 1. The package includes a general substation (110kV), auxiliary facilities such as admin building (including central control room, labs, DCS control system, etc.), parking lot, heat exchange station, water recycling station, platform scale, gate, security room, and air-compression station. The balance of plant includes general plot plan, piping, water supply, power supply, telecom, and firefighting. The ITB was issued to many design institutes and EPC companies who have capability and abundant experience nationwide.
