The resulting concentrated brine from the MVR process is sent over to the Salt Production Plant. The salt production process utilises the Multiple-Effect Crystallisation method to produce a high purity salt slurry. The salt slurry is then washed, dewatered, and dried. The resulting refined salt is over 99.1% pure. It is used as high value added feedstock for the chemical industries and basic input for a wide range of products.
