Once the temperature of the incoming seawater is raised to its optimal level through heat recovered from the salt recovery systems, it is sent to the Ultra-filtration (UF) and Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) systems. The desalinated water produced is supplied to users throughout the industrial zone. Enersave's SWRO technology has a recovery rate of over 60%. It is energy efficient and capable of producing 90,000 ppm high concentration brine. This reduces energy requirement in the downstream processes.
