On 8 December 2018, Xianda (Tianjin) Seawater Resources Development Co., Ltd. held the annual dinner party 2018 at Tianjin Hengda Dongli Lake Hotel to celebrate the new year of 2018.

On the afternoon of 8 Dec, laughter of Xianda employees came out of the hotel sports centre where Xianda held a small sports game. Staff were divided into groups to play skipping and tied-feet racing. The games were simple, but everyone was dedicated and enjoying the games, which was a typical image of the fighting spirit of the company. 

The dinner party was declared open with a New Year speech given by the COO Mr. Cheng Jew Kien, and immediately reached its climax after an excellent opening dance.

During the dinner, everyone was toasting to each other and exchanging New Year blessing. 20 minutes after the start of the dinner, the lucky draw began. The prizes ranged from cash to the latest iPhone. As prize winners unveiled, the party was full of laughter, applauses and cheers. At last, the first prize was won by Emily, the most fortunate person of the night. Those colleagues who did not win any prize also received consolation prizes.

At the party, Xianda employees also prepared many performances. Waiting Room Story, vividly performed by Administration Department, made the audience laugh ceaselessly.

Technology Department brought an exotic Indian Dance which was elegantly performed and perfectly synchronized. Xianda staff are versatile with talents.

 
Project Department performed a hilarious comedy: You Are the One. The audience enjoyed the comedy and also were willing to participate in. 

At last, Finance Department performed a hand version of Ballet Swan Lake. The audience found this novel ballet dance very refreshing.

All these performances brought joyful atmosphere to the party, and also showed the talents and vigour of Xianda staff. In the end, the comedy performed by Administration and Indian Dance of Technology Department were recommended to be shown at the Annual Dinner of Xianda Group in Shanghai.

The dinner party ended in a lively, loving and happy atmosphere. Everyone had an unforgettable evening. We wish Xianda company a brilliant future and more miracles to be created.

In order to strengthen teamwork and collaboration among departments, on the morning of 9 Dec, the company organized a teamwork training for all staff. Everyone participated in the training session with vigour, and input wisdom and teamwork spirit. The training enhanced the friendship and trust among colleagues, and enhanced employees’ understanding of the value of responsibility, the strength of a team, the power of communication and cooperation, as well as the importance of encouragement and rules.
 

In 2017, we made concerted efforts, worked hard and gained out achievement as a team. Looking ahead, we will reach the same goal with our confidence, and look forward to a brilliant future of Xianda.
