Time flies. 2018 is already behind us and the year 2019 is walking to us. A new year breeds new hope and objective. On 17 December 2018, Xianda (Tianjin) Seawater Resources Development Co., Ltd. held the New Year party 2019 at Shangri-La Hotel. Xianda management and employees gathered together in happiness and love, looking forward to a better future with feast and drinks.

To start with, COO Mr. Cheng Jew Kien made an opening remark. He summarised the company achievement in 2018 and expressed the prospect of the company. He also conveyed sincere wishes and blessing to all employees and their families.

 
Subsequently, Group Chairman Mr. Mah Sau Cheong raised his glass and announced the beginning of the dinner.

 
Apart from the lucky draw of the party, the performances of the staff were the highlight of the entire party. The first performance Folk Songs and Dances captured the eyes of the audience. The gorgeous performers provided folk singing and dancing with their beautiful voices and graceful gestures. The audience were intoxicated by the enjoyable performance.

Folk Songs and Dances

The second performance was a comedy performed by Administration Department. The comedy chose the popular theme of imperial palace. The costumes were carefully prepared and the performance was vividly conducted. The audience could not help laughing, and the comedy was chosen the most favourite performance of the night.

The last performance was a chorus performed by Technology Department. They were wearing custom made costumes with a different word on each t-shirt. The words read Xianda family altogether. The chorus expressed the unity of Xianda company.

The dinner party brought us laughter and intimacy for colleagues. The prizes drawn by the company management for employees also pushed the party to its climax. Happiness and harmony of the company were filled the entire dinner party.
