Xianda (Tianjin) Seawater Resources Development Co., Ltd. strictly implement the decision and requirements of the central and municipal governments with respect to the control of epidemic, and encourage all staff to stay indoors as much as possible. Compliance with government arrangements is the responsibilities for ourselves, our families, others and the whole country.
On 29 January, Human Resource Department finished collecting and reported the basic information of all staff to Tianjin TEDA COVID-19 Command Centre.
On 1 February, Xianda issued the notice to postpone the resumption of work in accordance with the notice of Tianjin COVID-19 Command Centre, in order to minimize personnel gathering and to cut off the transmission of virus.
On 3 February, IT Department established the infrastructure for all staff to work online during the epidemic, and also provided technical supports to facilitate the communications and access to files and data via the Internet.
On 4 February, Xianda COVID-19 Control and Prevention Taskforce was established, for the purpose of formulating contingency plan and preparing for the resumption of work. The taskforce conducted meetings on a weekly basis.
On 4 February, Xianda immediately purchased temperature measuring devices, masks, disinfectant, alcohol, and gloves.
On 6 February, a mini-programme was set up for the daily record of temperatures and health information for all staff. The information is managed and reported to the company on a daily basis by a designated person.
On 27 February, a training session was conducted online for all staff regarding the prevention of COVID-19 and the epidemic situation before the resumption of work.
From 2 March onwards, all Xianda staff began to work at home, as the office building was not open as the result of the epidemic.
On 13 March, Xianda application for work resumption was approved by Building Economy Office of Heping District.
On 16 March, in compliance with the requirements of Building Economy Office of Heping District, all Xianda staff was divided into three groups to work in the office in rotations.
On 18 March, work was officially resumed. In order to evade the rush hour in the office building and to minimize people gathering in lifts, Xianda adjusted the normal working hour to 9:30-17:30.
On 18 March, Xianda started to record attendance via a WeChat mini-programme to minimize contact on the fingerprint scanner.
From 18 March onwards, the office is sterilized twice a day and the sterilization is recorded.
From 18 March onwards, every attending employee is taken temperatures twice a day and registers the temperature in the mini-programme, which is collected by HR Department
From 18 March onwards, Xianda set up a hand sterilization area, hazardous rubbish bin, temperature taking area and an isolation room for all staff. All attending employees are supplied with masks.
